Payment Plans
Please visit my page for Payment Methods to place deposits and to make payments or to place an order.
Payment plans are layaway style plans. No animal will be released on credit. Full balance owed plus any shipping costs must be paid before the animal will be released. There is no finance fee, no interest, and no other additional charges for payment plans.
All deposits and payments must be made through approved and accepted methods. All payments must clear to be valid. Accepted forms of payment are cash, Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle, GooglePay, Facebook Pay, and PayPal but only through the Friends Family method. Anything paid through PayPal Goods and Services will be immediately refunded, but may take days to process through PayPal.
Deposits and payments on animals are negotiable as are most other terms before we reach an agreement. Otherwise this policy will apply in its entirety.
Deposits and payments are not transferable and are nonrefundable unless the animal becomes unfit to sell.
Deposit goes towards total cost of the animal. Typically, I prefer to collect at least $100 deposit for animals, and at least $100 per payment unless total cost of animal shipped is less than $400. Then monthly payments will be approximately equal to 1/4th (a quarter / 25%) of the total cost. Payments on more expensive animals can be less than 25% if equal to or greater than $100, but the term payoff deadline stated below will still apply.
After deposit, I can allow you to make up to 3 monthly payments of at least 25% or $100. That's one payment in each of the following calendar months after the depost. If a payment is not made in each month, I may give you an extension to the 15th of the following month at my discretion on a case by case basis. Otherwise, you forfeit and lose your deposit and any payments that were made and I retain the animal.
Example 1... Deposit paid anytime in January means you next payment can be made anytime in Feb, and the following payment anytime in March, and the final payment anytime in April, and no later than May 15th with an approved extension.
Example 2.... python sold at $150 plus $50 for shipping. Total cost is $200. Buyer places $100 deposit. Buyer owes $100. Payment minimum is 25% of total cost, so $50 monthly is due and payoff would only 2 months.
Example 3... python sold at $350 plus $50 for shipping. Total cost is $400. Buyer places $100 deposit. Buyer owes $300. Payment minimum is $100, so $100 monthly is due for 3 months and payoff will occur on time.
Example 4... python sold at $550 plus $50 for shipping. Total cost is $600. Buyer places $100 deposit. Buyer owes $500. Payment minimum is $100, but buyer chooses to pay 25% of the total monthly for 2 months at $150 and a final payment of $200 is due to payoff on time if the buyer chose to make minimal payments.
Example 5... python sold at $550 plus $50 for shipping. Total cost is $600. Buyer places $100 deposit. Buyer owes $500. Payment minimum is $100, so $100 monthly is due for 2 months and a final payment of $300 is due to payoff on time if the buyer chose to make minimal payments.
Example 6... python sold at $550 plus $50 for shipping. Total cost is $600. Buyer chooses to place a 25% deposit for $150 deposit. Buyer owes $450. Payment minimum is $100, but buyer chooses to pay 25% of the total monthly for 2 months at $150 and a final payment of $150 is due to payoff on time if the buyer chose to make equally split payments.
If the total due including shipping is not paid by the end of the 3rd calendar month after the first deposit, I may give you an extension to the 15th of the following month at my discretion on a case by case basis. Otherwise, you forfeit and lose your deposit and any payments that were made and I retain the animal. In any case, a payment plan should last no more than 4 months and 15 days if extended unless special arrangements are made, however forfeiture of payments in on delinquent plans will only be enforced for animals that are healthy, eating, and ready to go. Extentions are automatically given if the particular animal isn't ready to leave yet.
I will not ask or harass you for money, but if you are late on a payment, I will make 1 attempt to remind you via our usual means of communicating between the 8th and the 12th of that month and you will have at least 48 hours or until the end of the 15th to pay. My contact info will be provided to you, so it is your responsibility to contact me if you have difficulty paying.
The balance owed can be paid off early with no penalty, but no animals will be released until they are proven healthy and ready to go, and all payments must be cleared.
All animals will be properly cared for while the payment plan is rendered. Balances paid are not transferable to other animals.
Placing a deposit implies consent and acceptance of these terms.
If a late payment is made for a previous month, payment for the current month is still due. Example, deposit paid in January and payment for February is missed and paid late in March, the specific March payment is still owed within the month of March.
This agreement is standard policy, but as stated, all terms and payments are negotiable and any other agreements made between buyer and Rob Clark will supercede this policy.
Any updates to this policy will only apply to new payment plans occurring after this post. Plans or agreements already in affect prior to any updates will be honored and grandfathered. Rob Clark Pythons Expect BIG Things Wilmington, NC
